Boots Charitable Trust – Small grants for projects in Nottinghamshire

The Boots Charitable Trust is an independent registered charity wholly funded by Boots UK. They fund registered charities and smaller voluntary organisations benefitting people who live in Nottinghamshire. Grants are for 12-months and can range from £100 - £10,000, and primarily support revenue and delivery costs.

The Trust has not changed its grant programme during the pandemic as our priorities include projects that address Health and Social Care, the Trusts 4 priorities are:

Health – Community healthcare or health education and prevention.

Lifelong Learning – Helping people to achieve their educational potential.

Community development – Help for groups to organise and respond to problems and needs of communities or networks.

Social care – Personal social services, social preventative schemes or community social activities.

Every application needs to meet at least one of the Trust’s funding priorities, and we ask you to tell us about this in your application. It is also important for you to tell us about why your project is needed, and to provide evidence to back this up. This evidence can come from a number of difference sources, and a strong application will use several to highlight why their project is needed. Don’t forget to include details from your organisations current delivery and activity, such as how many people you reach and support, and the difference you are making.

There are regular bi-monthly deadlines for the Trust, with the next round closing on 7th December 2020, followed by 7th February 2021, and 7th April and every other month after that. The Trust uses an online portal for applications, and you can access that and find out more about the Trust and how to apply here Boots Charitable Trust.
