Ashfield Voluntary Action (AVA) is very excited to launch our new website which will allow us to more easily share information on the amazing work we are doing in the community and keep you fully informed.
Anne Jackson, Chair of Trustees at AVA said, "I am really delighted that we finally have a website which will enable us to properly promote the work that we do across Ashfield and Mansfield. We are going through a period of transition and growth, and like many voluntary sector organisations we have faced challeges in relation to funding. We have seen this challenge as an opportunity to realign our charity, try different approaches and make the most of every penny available to us.
It is so important that everyone knows what we are doing and this is the best and most effective way of promoting our work. Like many charities, we are busy doing what we do and this means that we have not always had the resources and capacity to properly promote our work. If we are going to move forwards and effectively meet the needs of local people then it is vital that the community knows about the wide range of services we provide.
The new website has been a long time coming and is an important tool in AVA's continuing development and growth and hopefully will help us to ensure the ongoing success of the charity".
As a final point, Anne also commented, "without the tremendous hard work and support of the staff at AVA we would not be where we are today and I want to publically acknowledge their hard work and efforts. We could not have done it without their dedication and committment."
