We have had a fantastic start to our New Year and our campaign to make our Emergency Food Bank fully sustainable. The food bank has had a number of supporters over the years and most recently has been supported by generous grants from the Garfield Weston Foundation and the Thomas Farr Charitable Trust. Whilst we are obviously extremely grateful for their support, we realise that we need to make sure that the food bank is self-funded as much as possible.
Although this is only our third day back after the Christmas break we have had very kind donations from Mo Sturdy who put together a reverse Advent Calendar of food bank donations, our lovely local postmaster Vik Landa who is a regular supporter of the food bank and from a new benefactor - all of your donations are so welcome - thank you very much.
