Today's update has a particular focus on information and resources for older and vulnerable people and the Coronavirus.

 

NEW SERVICE - AGE UK WELFARE SERVICE 

 

From Wed 25th March, Age UK has launched a newly created welfare service aimed at people who have no-one else to turn to, who need help with shopping or collecting medication. They will also keep in touch with people to offer a friendly voice during this very challenging time. Call 0115 844 0011 or email info@ageuknotts.org.uk 

 

SUPPORTING OLDER PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA

 

An excellent starting place is the Alzheimer's Society has an excellent range of information and resources to support people living with Dementia through the Coronavirus pandemic. The resources, all linked to the current situation with the Coronavirus, include:

Supporting a person with Dementia from a distance.
