Covid-19 vaccinations now available in Nottinghamshire for people with a Learning Disability

All adults on the learning disability register are being urged by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG (the part of the NHS which plans and pays for services) to book their Covid-19 vaccination as part of JCVI Cohort 6.

GPs will be calling those that are known to have learning disabilities to encourage them to have a Covid-19 vaccine.

You can book your Covid-19 vaccination appointment by visiting this booking link or by calling the local booking line on 0115 883 4640 between 8am – 8pm during weekdays and 9am – 5pm on weekends.

Amanda Sullivan, Accountable Officer at NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG, said: “We have plenty of appointments available over the weekend and I would urge those who fall into this cohort to book a vaccine at their earliest convenience".

“Health and care teams and GPs are working together to make sure people across the city and county are getting the vaccine but you can help too. Please urge friends, family and those close to you to book a vaccine if they are eligible. A helpful guide to support people to book and understand what is available is here.”
