Ashfield District Council is offering free
support and sign posting drop-in sessions for people living in Ashfield.
Would you like to come along to sessions every Friday from 10am -12pm at the Magdalene Centre, St Mary’s Church, Church Ave, Sutton-in-Ashfield NG17 2EB
Our friendly team can help with:
- Refugee and asylum seeker support and advice
- training and job opportunities
- conversation classes
- housing and benefit advice
- budgeting and debt advice
- how to get low cost and free food
- mental health and wellbeing
- addictions
- confidential advice and support for people experiencing any kind of abuse
- connecting with the local community and support groups
- befriending and mentoring.

Ashfield District Council is also offering English conversation sessions to help you:
- Improve your English language skills to support you in your daily life
- help you become part of your local community
- help you to go into further education, training, or get employment.
The classes start on Friday 7 June 2024 • 1-3pm and every Friday after at the Magdalene Centre, St Mary’s Church, Church Ave, Sutton-in-Ashfield NG17 2EB.
