Consultation plans are now underway for Leamington Lunches, a new initiative being planned for the Leamington area.
We recently chatted to local residents about the service and asked for ideas and ways to deliver food within the Leamington area.
Food preparation and delivery of a hot food service is being discussed for the Leamington Area. The proposed project would allow the most vulnerable in the community to receive hot and tasty food and a wellness check.
We are looking for volunteers to support the project in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Food will be prepared locally and delivered to local residents. Your own transport would be helpful, but may not be necessary.
Days available - Monday to Friday (am and pm) and you will be able to select your preferred days.
Times available - between 1 to 4 hours daily to suit you.
Volunteers will be trained in food safety and preparation as needed and volunteers may require a DBS check. Volunteers are given full support and volunteer expenses are paid for travel.
If you are looking to Volunteer across the Leamington community we can offer support, guidance and training.
