Spot Cancer Sooner

Spot cancer sooner

Early diagnosis of cancer is crucial. By finding it early, cancer is often more treatable and there's a greater chance the treatment will be successful. Many people notice changes in their body but are sometimes worried about getting them checked. For most people, symptoms won’t be cancer, but it's always better to be safe.

The NHS cancer awareness bus is coming to your local community, offering free NHS cancer advice, screening information and mini health checks.

Noticed a change that doesn’t feel normal for you? Come and speak to the NHS cancer awareness team for free advice about possible cancer signs and symptoms, screening information and free mini health checks.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you have a specific question about symptoms, screening, healthy lifestyle support, or simply want to learn more, our friendly NHS team will be happy to help.

No appointment needed – just come and speak to us.

The NHS Cancer Bus will be touring around Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire from Monday 5 October to Monday 12 October 2026. The bus will be open for visitors from 9am-4pm.
