Ashfield Community Enterprise

Ashfield Community Enterprise is based at Stanton Hill. It is run by volunteers who pass on skills in woodwork to the next generation. Essentially we are a small recycling centre, stripping old pallets to make new furniture, garden benches, planters and bird tables, bird boxes and hedgehog boxes.

We refurbish old furniture and pass it on to people in need or sell it to generate funds.

We also run a small, confidential waste collection and shredding scheme in partnership with Shredall, for small businesses that do not generate enough confidential waste for Shredall to individually collect.

This means we can generate our own funds to maintain the woodwork shop, Social Enterprise in Action.

If you would like to know more about Ashfield Community Enterprise, please complete our simple enquiry form below and we will try to get back to you within three working days.

We are always looking for people to join the team, or maybe you are a small business who can make use of our services whilst supporting your local community - we'd love to hear from you.
