CRAG meet at 6pm on the 1st Thursday of every month in the Bracken Hill Community Centre on Abbey Road. Any Coxmoor residents are invited to discuss local issues, hear about upcoming events and activities, or just to get to know their neighbours.
The group are always welcoming other Coxmoor residents wanting to get involved in any way that they can, so please get in touch with the details below if you're interested. They also have a number of exciting community events and activities planned for the future - so watch this space and join the CRAG Facebook group for updates.
People often want to get more involved with their community but aren't sure where to start. CRAG are looking to create different 'teams' to give community members ideas of the different things they can do to help out - from litter picking, to helping to set up for an event, to simply having regular coffee chats with an elderly neighbour.
Environment Team
The environment team makes sure Coxmoor is looking its best. For those interested in litter picking, maintaining the community garden planters, or doing general tidying up on the Estate, this team is for you.
Digital Team
This team is for the tech whizzes willing to lend their time and know-how to other residents wanting to learn skills around using email, navigating the app store, or exploring the internet.
Events Team
Now this one is rather self-explanatory. This team is for people wanting to be involved in the organising and running of community events and activities. That might be raising funds, manning a stall at a family fun day, or even coming up with ideas for new events.
Neighbour Connect Team
Last, but not least, this team is for people interested in simply being a good neighbour, which may mean things like helping people with their weekly shop, having regular coffee chats with a elderly neighbour, or making sure the bins are out (and back in).
If you're a Coxmoor resident and interested in joining CRAG, you can either visit their Facebook page HERE or use the contact details below.
