Home of the Information Hub

The Information Hub is a new resource for people living and working in Ashfield and the surrounding area. The Hub helps you to find out more about available services, how they work, and what they do. The Hub includes a directory of services, information and resources split into different subject areas. This helps you to access services in your area more easily, understand what help is on offer, and how they can support you.

The aim of the Information Hub is to improve people's quality of life by supporting health and wellbeing. Whilst this resource has been developed solely by Ashfiield Voluntary Action, we work with other colleagues in the Voluntary Sector and Health and Social Care. This ensures that we provide information which reflects the wide-range of support available, and is useful and up-to-date.

To understand a little more about the way we work in partnership, supporting people in every aspect of their lives, watch our staff member Yvonne talk about one of our weekly social activities and the impact it has on local people.

Ashfield Voluntary Action is an infrastructure support organisation for the voluntary sector. This means that we support local community groups working in Ashfield, helping them to help people living in our community. One of the ways we help people is by making sure that local community groups have the knowledge, training, volunteers and contacts to help them to provide the best service possible. Some of the ways we can provide support are listed below. Click on each of the images to find out more.

If you feel that we have missed an activity or service, please contact Sarah Taylor on s.taylor@ashfieldvoluntaryaction.org.uk
