We are living through challenging times, and whilst this has been difficult it has led to a greater awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
As difficult as the pandemic and lockdown were, they led to some surprising and unexpected outcomes. The wave of kindness and community spirit which came to the fore was a real positive, as so many people offered their time and goodwill to others. This also provided a forum to talk about mental health and the challenges that some people have to overcome every day. Whilst we have moved on, the lessons learned remain and we understand more about the importance of good mental health than ever before. When we talk about mental health and raise awareness, we are all part of the movement towards a kinder, more understanding and compassionate community.
We have compiled a list of wellbeing organisations and resources to raise awareness of the support that is available as we all become part of the solution together. Click on each of the links below to find out more about the services and resources on offer.
