Support for Voluntary & Community Groups

Did you know that Ashfield Voluntary Action offers one-to-one advice and support for community groups?

We can help you with everything from setting up your group, governance, training, recruiting and retaining volunteers, consultation, promotion, building relationships and getting ready for funding. For an more detailed look at our work as a voluntary sector infrastructure organisation, you can read our leaflet or click the image below.

To access this free support, please contact Sarah Taylor on s.taylor@ashfieldvoluntaryaction.org.uk.

Ashfield Voluntary Action provides support for voluntary and community groups throughout the Ashfield District, however we can also provide additional support if your organisation/project is based in (or serves) the Coxmoor Estate in Kirkby, or the Butlers Hill/Broomhill areas of Hucknall. You can also contact Sam Clarke on s.clarke@ashfieldvoluntaryaction.org.uk or ring 01623 555 551 to chat about the support available in these areas.

For more information on funding, please find a wide-range of simple 'Top Tips' documents to set you on the right path of securing funding for your group in the "Resourcessection of our website.
