Ashfield Voluntary Action is delighted to have received funding from the Kirkby Benevolent Fund through Ashfield District Council. The funding is to support community and voluntary sector groups and Ashfield Voluntary Action will be delivering a series of four workshops and follow-up support all around strengthening your community or voluntary group. The workshops are also suitable for newly established groups and perfect for people who are thinking about setting up a new group - giving you the opportunity to make the best decisions about your new group right at the start.
The workshops are all being delivered at the Ashfield Health and Well Being Centre and are free, although you must book your place. Places are limited, so don't miss out on the chance to access a wealth of expert knowledge and give your group a good opportunity to move forward positively.
This workshop will look at financial management of your group, including planning ahead, budgets, cash flows and accounts. This session will be delivered by John O' Brien from Community Accounting Plus.
